Privacy Policy

This short policy explains what WORLD collects while the site is in public-hold / A-series mode.

What we collect

If you create an account, WORLD stores your name, email, and account data in Supabase. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not stored in website files.

What we do not collect yet

REV20A does not take public payments. We do not collect card numbers on this site. PayPal, when enabled in a later revision, will process payment details on PayPal’s pages.

How the data is used

Account data is used to let you log in, reset a password, and later view COAR registrations linked to your login. We do not sell customer lists.

Your controls

You can request account deletion by using the Contact page. Hosting is on Porkbun. Account authentication is on Supabase.

This page will be expanded before live purchasing is turned on.

Family Memorial Information

Family memorial features may include names, dates, memorial notes, photographs, relationship information, and meaningful ocean locations. Exact memorial coordinates, particularly locations associated with ashes or family remembrance, should be treated as private by default. WORLD's intended privacy choices are Private, Family, and Public. Public memorials should display approximate location information unless the account owner affirmatively chooses otherwise.
