What a WORLD COAR is

Commemorative registration only

A WORLD COAR is a commemorative geographic registration and collectible. It is not a deed and does not convey legal ownership of ocean water, seabed, mineral rights, fishing rights, navigation rights, sovereignty, or real property.

Public purchasing is off in REV20A

The A in REV20A means public payment is disabled. Sample or sandbox checkout does not create a live paid registration. Live PayPal checkout will be enabled in a later non-A revision.

Certificates

Certificates are keepsake documents tied to a mapped commemorative area and a WORLD number. They are not government records and are not an official land title.

Accounts

You are responsible for the email and password used to sign in. WORLD may remove test accounts or sample registrations.

These terms will be expanded with refund, shipping, and payment language before public checkout is enabled.

Memorial and Ash-Scattering Locations

WORLD memorial records are commemorative only. WORLD does not perform, arrange, authorize, supervise, or certify the scattering of ashes or other remains. Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws, permits, environmental rules, vessel/operator requirements, and location restrictions. A WORLD memorial or COAR record does not create property, burial, access, navigation, mineral, sovereignty, or exclusive-use rights.
